Saying Challenge en binôme, chacun a une illustration différente.

Step 1: Look at your picture and try to figure out which saying it represents and what it means.
Step 2: Convince your partner that you really know which saying your picture illustrates and what it means.
Step 3: Your partner must guess whether you’re telling the truth. If they find out, they win; if not, you do.

History challenge

Same rules as for the SAYING challenge, but each partner is given a different important date associated to an anglophone country without any more context and must pretend to know exactly what it means, and convince their partners.

Meanwhile, a randomly chosen student reads a fact file to explain the true significance of the date to the class after the challenge is over.

Story challenge (3 pics, 1 story)

Story challenge (alternative)

1 picture. 1 minute to think about a story: 1) that happened to you or not 2) that must somehow be related to the picture

Tell your stories. Your partner must determine whether it’s a real story or not.

AI Challenge

Controversy challenge in pairs

Step 1: Decide if you’ll defend or challenge the statement

Step 2: Read the (silly) controversial statement

Step 3: 3 minutes to debate
